The latest Triton Invitational champion, Adrian Mateos
It's the most exciting event on the Triton Poker calendar, and for the first time in Asia this September, the Triton Invitational will take place in the location where the fields are always the biggest: Jeju, South Korea.
With a buy-in of $200,000, it has the potential to be the biggest ever Invitational event, surpassing even the 137-entry field that gathered in Montenegro in May.
And you can be a part of it.
In confirming the tournament for September 12-14, 2026, part of the Super High Roller Series stop at Les A Casino, Shinhwa World, from September 4-17, Triton Poker reminds all potential players that they can register their interest in becoming an Invitee.
This is the tournament whose field is perfectly calibrated between elite pros and specially-selected Invitees, and where the two sides of the field play separately for the opening day.
Triton Poker is always excited to receive new applications to join the Invitee side of the draw and encourages any players with sufficient funds to get in touch, especially with the field in Asia.
Triton Poker's VIP team has put together a guide on how to apply for a seat in the Invitational reminding potential players that the tournament is not a closed shop.
It doesn't matter if a player has ever sat down at a Triton event before. Any poker enthusiast with an appropriate bankroll is encouraged to submit an application to join the event. Triton's dedicated selection committee reviews each application closely and aims to identify potential players who best reflect the spirit of the tournament.
"Bringing the Triton Invitational to Asia for the first time marks a significant milestone for our series," said Triton Poker Series CEO Andy Wong. "Given the strong community of high-stakes poker enthusiasts across the region, we look forward to introducing new players to the Invitational field."

In a further bonus, the Jeju Invitational falls over a weekend – September 12-14 – specifically to give traveling businesspeople the best chance to play.
In 10 previous Triton Invitationals, six winners have come from the pros' side of the draw, with four Invitees also claiming the top prize. Most recently, Spanish No 1 Adrian Mateos triumphed in Montenegro for a career-best $6.37 million payday. Previously, businessmen Aaron Zang, Ramin Hajiyev and Aleksa Pavicevic, as well as Argentinian rapper Alejando Lococo, have sealed triumphs in the Triton Invitational.
Triton Poker's previous visits to Jeju have proved exceptionally popular, with the tour's 12 biggest tournaments, by field size, all taking place in South Korea. In 2025, there were 391 entries to the $25,000 NLH tournament, setting a new tour record, while the biggest $100K Main Event, with 285 entries, also took place in the casino now known as LES A.
Numerous high rollers from across Asia are expected to join the action in Jeju, with each permitted to invite one professional poker player to play. It is likely that the tournament will feature more than 50 pairs for the first time since the inaugural Invitational event in 2019.
