WHAT IS TRITON ONE?

Triton ONE is a relatively new tour established by the Triton Poker Series, best known and loved for its superlative Triton Poker Super High Roller Series. Through 10 years, the Super High Roller Series has become the most prestigious high stakes poker tour in the world, where the world's leading players do battle for eye-watering prizes.

It is equally well known for its exceptional player experience, with industry-leading broadcast streams, innovative poker-room technology and VIP service for all.

Triton ONE brings all of what's best about the Super High Roller Series to mid-stakes players, lowering the buy-ins but maintaining the brand experience.

Triton ONE runs November 5-15, 2026 at the Merit Royal Diamond Casino & Resort, Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus.

WHAT ARE THE GAMES?

The Triton ONE Northern Cyprus schedule features 15 events in No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha, with buy-ins ranging from $2,000 to $15,000.

The NLH Main Event has a buy-in of $8,000, with at least four $1,500 buy-in qualifiers being hosted on site allowing players the chance to play this huge event for a fraction of the advertised buy-in.

You can also qualify for as little as 1 cent via a series of online satellites hosted by various iPoker platforms.

The Main Event runs November 10-15, and seems certain to have a prize pool of several million dollars. The first ever Triton ONE Main Event, in Jeju, South Korea, in September 2025 attracted 1,046 entries and built a prize pool of $7.6 million. Six months later, the second Main Event was bigger still, with 1,230 entries and nearly $9 million in the prize pool. The winner, Zhao Wenjie, earned $1.16 million.

Other flagship events on the schedule include the $3,000 QQPK Genesis event, a $15,000 High Roller and a $5,000 Mystery Bounty tournament. There are also two events for women only, with buy-ins of $3,000 and $2,000.

BECOME 'PLAYER ONE' AND SECURE HUGE BONUS

The most consistent player through a calendar year of Triton ONE events — otherwise known as "Player ONE" — will receive an incredible $66,000 in tournament credits to play even more Triton Poker Series events.

All Triton ONE tournaments offer points toward the Player ONE leaderboard race, with points determined based on tournament finishing place, the buy-in and the total number of entries.

Additional points are awarded for on-time registration and in-the-money finishes, plus additional tournament entries.

It's a thrilling incentive to join the action and chase what would be ultimate, official recognition.

After a tremendous festival in Jeju in March, Spain's Ander Vallinas currently tops the Player ONE rankings. But with 15 tournaments on the Cyprus schedule, the race is far from over. Vallinas owes his top spot to three final-table appearances and one further ITM finish. It's entirely possible that this performance can be beaten in Northern Cyprus.

The Player of the Festival (i.e., the top performer in Northern Cyprus) will receive a further 100 points.

WHERE IS TRITON ONE TAKING PLACE?

The host venue for Triton ONE is the luxurious Merit Royal Diamond Resort & Casino, in Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus. The Triton Poker Series has previously visited this location for three Super High Roller Series festivals between 2022 and 2023, with players attesting to its incredible level of comfort and convenience.

The Merit tournament room is vast, allowing for one of the most comfortable playing experiences in world poker. Furthermore, there is ample accommodation across four hotel towers on the property, meaning all players should be able to find a place to stay within a short walk of the tournament room.

This is also an all-inclusive resort, boasting numerous restaurants and bars, accessible to anyone staying on site for no additional fee. The buffets are enormous and varied, with something to satisfy all dietary requirements.

There are ornate gardens, numerous spa facilities and swimming pools, a private sandy beach, as well as tennis and squash courts on property too. It is the perfect place to relax and stay healthy away from the tables.

GETTING TO NORTHERN CYPRUS

Cyprus is an island in the east of the Mediterranean Sea. The northern side is Turkish territory, the southern side is governed by Greece.

The closest airport to the Merit Resort is Ercan International Airport, which is approximately 50 minutes by taxi from the resort. Numerous daily flights from Istanbul land at Ercan.

Alternatively, there are international airports in both Larnaca and Paphos, on the Greek side of the island. It is possible to reach Kyrenia by road after landing in either of those airports, although a border crossing between the Greek and Turkish sides of the island is required.

Travel to Northern Cyprus is exceptionally easy for residents of almost all countries. With only very limited exceptions, presenting a valid passport on entry to Northern Cyprus is all that is required to secure a 30-day tourist visa.
