With the Triton Poker Series preparing for two huge events in Jeju and North Cyprus in the coming months, there's great news for armchair fans hoping to follow the action.
From August 18, powered by C15 Studio, the Triton channel will be available to viewers across the United States and United Kingdom via The Roku Channel. The Triton streams have long been regarded as the best showcase for high stakes poker and are a perfect fit for The Roku Channel, among its massive and diverse lineup of traditional and emerging genres, including live sports.
The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series visits Jeju, South Korea, from September 4-17, and will then head to Europe for a festival that also features a full slate of Triton ONE events. Triton Poker Series will be in North Cyprus from November 5-30.
The channel launch kicks off an electrifying three-month sprint for poker fans. The Roku Channel’s viewers will have front-row access to the world’s elite players as they compete for a historic milestone: total prize pools across the Series are expected to surpass $2 billion during the upcoming Jeju festival.
"This is another important milestone for Triton," said CEO Andy Wong. "Production has always been at the heart of what we do here. It's how we bring poker to life, not just for the players in the room but for millions watching from home. Getting onto the Roku Channel means more people will get to see the game the way we've always wanted it seen, played by the best in the world. That's the whole mission: growing poker through great content, and reaching people who haven't found us yet."
"Bringing Triton to The Roku Channel underscores exactly what C15 Studio is built to do: transform elite global sports properties into powerhouse television networks," said Joe Nilsson, CEO & Co-Founder of C15 Studio. "With 1,000 hours of premium live action annually alongside a legendary decade-long archive, we are delivering an unmissable, world-class viewing experience straight to Roku’s premier US and UK audience.
Viewers can access the Triton channel via the “Live TV” section on The Roku Channel. The channel will also launch on The Roku Channel in Canada on December 15.
